| McDavid Back Support with Suspenders (A494) | McDavid back brace with suspenders provides support for a weak back, minor strains or pulls of the back or abdomen muscles. Helps relieve pain and promote healing.
The suspenders enable the support to be worn loosely round the waist when not in use.
This can be of benefit if the support is not required all the time. For example wearing a support permenantly can cause muscle wasting and reliance on the support. This support can be worn loosely when not required and then tightened up for tasks when the back requires more support such as heavy lifting.
Made of lightweight lycra, thermal rubber and orthopaedic elastic that delivers firm support. The first layer consists of heat retaining medical neoprene across the lower back, attached to lycra. When closed the first layer delivers mild compression so the brace can be worn without effect. The outer straps deliver firm, powerful support when attached. The harder they are applied, the more the compression level. Six stays provide for extra support.
